Mac LeBuhn is a dad, former teacher, and policy advisor.
Working in City Hall under Lori Lightfoot, Mac wrote and passed Chicago’s ordinance that is helping protect our city from Trump and ICE’s attacks.
In Springfield, Mac will fight back against Trump and ICE and work to lower costs for our families.
Secondarily, voters should receive information about Paul Kendrick and Karim Lakhani over streaming. Voters that receive information about Karim Lakhani must simultaneously receive information about Paul Kendrick. They should see that:
Karim Lakhani is wrong for our kids. He’s endorsed by the Chicago Teachers Union, an extreme, Brandon Johnson-aligned group that works against the interests of Chicago students, parents, and taxpayers, supports massive tax increases, pushes for school closures, and wants to shut down selective enrollment schools.
But Democrats also can’t trust Paul Kendrick to fight for us or stand up to right wing special interests. He is funded by corporate lobbyists who lobbied for the fossil fuel industry, the gambling industry, predatory for-profit colleges, and the soda lobby.
Paul Kendrick is more Chicago corruption. He’s funded by a “key political supporter of [disgraced Alderman] Ed Burke” and government contractor with ties to the mob. He’s also taken funding from a prosecutor who looked the other way when Chicago Police tortured innocent people.
