Leaders Across Illinois Endorse Mac LeBuhn for Illinois House District 12
CHICAGO, IL – Mac for Illinois announced today the endorsements of former Alderman Edwin Eisendrath, former State Representative Kathy Ryg, Andy Shaw, and former Alderman Dick Simpson (in alphabetical order).
Former 43rd Ward Alderman Edwin Eisendrath: “What's going to restore faith in democracy and protect it from the attack it's under? Getting stuff done to lift people up, doing the job with seriousness of purpose, and electing leaders who aren't beholden to special interests or to the status quo. Electing Mac in the 12th District checks all these boxes.”
Former 59th Dist. State Representative Kathy Ryg: "As a representative in Springfield and as a leader of good government organizations, I know that Illinois needs principled leadership. Mac will bring a fresh perspective and much-needed integrity to Illinois government.”
Reform leader Andy Shaw: "Mac has consistently championed honest, efficient, and transparent government throughout his career. His commitment to working cooperatively with state officials and lawmakers to strengthen those basic good government principles will serve the 12th District and the residents of Illinois well."
Former 44th Ward Alderman Dick Simpson: "Mac represents new leadership committed to making Illinois government more responsive to everyday voters. His understanding of needed reforms would make him an invaluable addition to the legislature."
"I'm honored to have the support of these distinguished reform leaders," said Mac LeBuhn. "Today, we hear too little about results and too much about political infighting. I look forward to representing the 12th District as an independent voice for change."
